Financial Assistance Fund

The University of Gloucestershire has established a Financial Assistance Fund that is open to applications from current students who can demonstrate financial hardship. This fund provides means-tested financial support to eligible students facing unexpected financial difficulties during their studies. The fund is designed to help students who have already taken out their full entitlement of Maintenance Loan but still require additional financial assistance. Awards are determined on a case-by-case basis through assessment of each student's personal income and expenditure. Assessments typically take up to 21 working days to complete once all relevant information is submitted, though award amounts cannot be estimated until a completed application is received. The University maintains a dedicated Money Advice Team to provide confidential information, advice and guidance on all aspects of student finance to both prospective and current students.
