First Generation Bursary

The First Generation Bursary at Nipissing University is a financial need-based award designed specifically to support first-year students who are first in their family to pursue higher education. This bursary recognizes the unique challenges faced by students whose parents did not attend college or university, providing crucial financial assistance during their inaugural year of post-secondary studies. The award is presented on the basis of demonstrated financial need to selected first year students who self-identify as first-generation students during the application process.
