FKT - Tilskudd til akutte tiltak mot rovviltskader for eiere av produksjonsdyr

This grant program provides funding for acute preventive measures against predator damage for owners of production animals in agriculture. The scheme is part of the FKT (Preventive and Conflict-Reducing Measures) program administered by the Norwegian Environment Agency. Funding is specifically reserved for special situations where there is a high risk of loss to predators, and where measures are expected to have a direct loss-reducing effect. Applications must be agreed upon in advance with the County Governor (Statsforvalteren), who makes a professional assessment of whether criteria for applying for emergency measures are met. Eligible applicants include agricultural enterprises with production animals such as sheep, goats, cattle, horses, reindeer, and also measures directly reducing losses for beekeepers, pigs, poultry, and deer farming. The program aims to limit damage and losses that predators can cause to production animals in agriculture.
