About This Opportunity

The Flame Stoppers Māori & Pasifika Quantity Surveying Excellence Scholarship provides financial support and mentoring to high achieving Māori and Pasifika students during the second and third years of their Bachelor of Construction (Quantity Surveying major). The scholarship covers up to $8,000 per year in academic course fees for two years, supporting students enrolled in quantity surveying programs at New Zealand institutions. Flame Stoppers Ltd, New Zealand's leading provider of Passive Fire Protection, established this scholarship to encourage and mentor high achieving Māori and Pasifika Quantity Surveyors to become leaders in the construction industry and their communities. In addition to financial support, the scholarship may include paid work experience opportunities during tertiary holidays, providing practical industry experience alongside academic studies.
