Florida Bright Futures Scholarship Program

The Florida Bright Futures is a state scholarship program that establishes three lottery-funded scholarships to reward high school graduates for high academic achievement. The program provides awards through three tiers: Florida Academic Scholars, Florida Medallion Scholars, and Gold Seal/Initial Vocational Scholars. The scholarship covers tuition at a rate of $111.90 per credit hour for both Academic and Medallion scholars, with minimum enrollment of 6 credits per semester required. Not all fees are covered by the Bright Futures Scholarships, including transportation and library fees.
