About this opportunity
Florida Engineering Society scholarships inspire and encourage the pursuit of an education focused on engineering. This scholarship program supports high school seniors graduating from Florida schools who plan to pursue engineering degrees. Every eligible applicant will be considered for both the Florida Engineering Society statewide scholarships and the Myakka Chapter scholarships serving local Sarasota, Manatee and Desoto Counties. To be awarded the scholarship, students must enroll in an engineering program accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET). The program requires applicants to be U.S. citizens or permanent residents with at least a 3.5 GPA and minimum SAT or ACT scores. The scholarship provides $3,000 in financial support to help students pursue their engineering education goals.
