This grant program supports projects, initiatives and activities that stimulate good public health and local community development in Nordland county, Norway. The program prioritizes initiatives that promote inclusion, participation, well-being, quality of life and reduce social inequalities. Special priority is given to initiatives that prevent social exclusion (particularly for children and youth), facilitate universal participation, and actively recruit new and vulnerable groups. The grant can provide small amounts for purchasing equipment and materials that contribute to advancing the funded initiative. Funding is provided for one year at a time and generally not granted for more than three consecutive years for the same initiative.
