Fondet for sygdomsbekæmpelse hos vore familiedyr

The fund supports the initiation and completion of scientific studies that are expected to improve the diagnosis and treatment of diseases in dogs, cats, and other small companion animals. The fund specifically focuses on advancing veterinary medicine for family pets through research that can lead to better diagnostic methods and therapeutic approaches. Importantly, the fund cannot support studies where healthy animals are subjected to diseases or other pathological conditions - this ethical restriction ensures that funded research does not cause unnecessary harm to animals. The grant is administered by the University of Copenhagen's Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences.
