This grant scheme aims to help more people with mental health challenges and/or substance abuse problems participate in work-oriented activities and enter ordinary employment through the establishment of more Fountain Houses, the continued operation of existing Fountain Houses, and the umbrella organization Fountain House Norway. The program supports municipalities and voluntary/charitable organizations in providing these services. The initiative is designed to strengthen social inclusion and employment opportunities for vulnerable populations through the Fountain House model of psychosocial rehabilitation. This funding supports both the expansion of new facilities and the operational costs of existing services to ensure continuity and growth of this important community-based mental health support system.
