About This Opportunity

The Ford Britain Trust has been supporting local communities in the UK since April 1975, funding projects focused on education, environment, children, people with disabilities, youth activities and community benefits near Ford's UK locations. The Trust offers two grant levels: small grants up to £250 and large grants up to £3,000. The Trust particularly encourages applications from projects supported by Ford employees, but is open to all qualifying registered charities, state schools/PTAs, and non-profit organisations. Grant applications are considered for capital projects, capital expenditure items, equipment purchases, and contributions toward new vehicle purchases. The Trust has five application cycles each year, with small grants reviewed three times annually and large grants reviewed twice annually by the Board of Trustees. Priority is given to locations near Ford operations including Essex, Bridgend, Southampton, Daventry, Manchester, and Liverpool, though projects in all UK postcodes will be considered.

Renewable
Decision Review occurs in July, November, April for small grants; September/October and March for large grants
