Forest Industries Research Centre (FIRC) Honours Scholarship

The Forest Industries Research Centre (FIRC) Honours Scholarships are designed to encourage and support students commencing an Honours program at the University of the Sunshine Coast, with a long-term view to enter the research field. This scholarship is specifically for students undertaking 'end-on' Honours programs (not embedded Honours or Professional Honours) who have a supervisor from the Forest Industries Research Centre. The scholarship aims to support students whose research focus aligns with the Forest Industries Research Centre research areas and who demonstrate intention and motivation for ongoing study and pursuit of a Higher Degree by Research (HDR). Scholarship payment is made approximately three weeks after Census Date, once enrolment has been confirmed. This scholarship is offered on a yearly basis through funds provided by an external donor, and availability is dependent on funding being available in any given year.
