FORREGION Finnmark

FORREGION (Forskningsbasert innovasjon i regionen) Finnmark has the purpose of mobilizing more businesses/business environments to use research in their development projects. Businesses in Finnmark with little or no research experience can apply for support for R&D projects. The business must have the ambition that the preliminary project will lead to further research. The project idea must aim to develop an innovation that can contribute to digitalization, sustainable value creation, technology or green transition in Finnmark. The business must collaborate with an approved research institution. The program focuses on several thematic areas including digitalization, green transition, sustainability, and technology, as well as regional development sectors such as manufacturing, forestry, agriculture, environment and renewable energy, maritime, health and welfare, tourism, and service sectors.
