FORREGION Vestfold is a regional research funding program designed to mobilize businesses for research and development activities. The program provides pre-project support to help companies initiate research and development projects. Companies work with qualified competence brokers who discuss project ideas, identify knowledge needs, find relevant research environments, and assist in finding suitable support schemes. The program targets businesses with limited innovation experience but potential for research-based innovation, as well as companies looking to upgrade their innovation work through research-based methods. Applicants must have dialogue with a competence broker who guides them through the application process. The program is managed by Vestfold County Council in collaboration with Telemark County Council and connects businesses with innovation environments to deliver competence brokering services.
