Forrest W. Howell Scholarship in Public Administration

The Forrest W. Howell Scholarship in Public Administration is awarded to graduate students at Eastern Illinois University pursuing the Public Administration and Public Policy option in Political Science. Recipients must be enrolled in at least six credit hours as a graduate student and demonstrate an established pattern of academic excellence in coursework taken in Public Administration and Public Policy. The scholarship requires that recipients have indicated to their advisor in their graduate study plan that they plan to pursue a career in Public Administration, and maintain a 3.5 GPA or higher. The award is payable in the Spring semester and recipients may be eligible to apply for and receive the award again provided they continue to meet the criteria.
