Forsøgsleder R. Nørtoft Thomsens legat til fremme af dansk husdyrvidenskab

This grant supports researchers in animal science who wish to conduct research within the field of livestock farming. The grant is awarded to candidates seeking support for research projects that are deemed by the grant's board to be of particular current significance for livestock production. As a general rule, projects concerning companion animals (including horses) are not considered eligible under the statutes. The grant amount can be used for all forms of research expenses, including necessary shorter study visits to other research institutions, but not for salary of the grant recipient. The grant recipient must provide a short report upon request from the grant board accounting for the use of the grant amount and the research results obtained, for example in the form of publications on the topic.
