Fox Chapel Area Education Scholarship Fund (The Ed Boyle Scholarship)

The Ed Boyle Scholarship honors Ed Boyle, a collegiate All American soccer player who taught physical education at Kerr School when Fox Chapel Area High School was formed. As a physical education teacher, he served as Head Coach for nine years. His passion for soccer and his pride in Fox Chapel High School was always evident. Because of his love for soccer and pride in Fox Chapel, the Boyle Family established this scholarship to be given to a graduating soccer player. This single-year award scholarship provides approximately $1,000 to graduating seniors from Fox Chapel High School who are members in good standing of the soccer team and plan to continue their education at an accredited vocational, technical trade school, 2-year or 4-year college or university. Applicants must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
