FPCBP Scholarship

The Federation of Portuguese Canadian Business and Professionals Scholarship Award is designed to recognize Luso-Canadian youth for their academic achievements and community involvement across Canada. Courtesy of generous scholarship sponsors, Luso-Canadian youth will be awarded scholarships ranging from $1,000.00 to $4,000.00. In addition to being awarded a scholarship, recipients will be awarded a 1-year complementary Student FPCBP Membership. The scholarship is available in four categories: High School (Grade 12), College, University Undergraduate program, and University Graduate program. Applicants must be Canadian citizens or Permanent Residents who meet Portuguese descendant requirements (born in Portugal, Azores, Madeira OR descendant of Portuguese parents or grandparents). Awards will be presented at the FPCBP Scholarships & Excellence Awards Gala Dinner held annually. Award recipients are invited to attend the Portugal Day Parade in June in Toronto and volunteer at 2 events within the federation's calendar year. Recipients must participate in-person at the FPCBP Gala and have not been past recipients in the same program category.
