Framtidsrettet havbruk - oppfølging av Havbruksmeldingen

This funding opportunity supports research on aquaculture governance in Norway. The call has two main objectives: (1) research on how current aquaculture industry management functions, the need for changes, what is important for new management models, evaluation of measures and their effects, and how this can be part of future aquaculture industry management; and (2) follow-up research for the development of new regulations for the aquaculture industry. Applications addressing objective 1 must be relevant to the management of Norwegian aquaculture industry but do not need to be based on current or previously proposed management models. The call is primarily directed at social science issues, including legal perspectives, but also opens for other subject areas as part of the project. The Research Council expects to finance at least one project from each of the two stated objectives.
