About this opportunity
The Frances Marion Smith Scholarship in Civil Engineering is an undergraduate scholarship established in 2014 to provide financial assistance to students studying Civil Engineering within the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Sydney. The scholarship is valued at $6,000 per year for one year only and is funded by a donation from Mrs Robyn Smith. Applicants must be enrolled in or entering their second or later year of undergraduate study in civil engineering at the University of Sydney and be enrolled full-time. The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic merit as per the applicant's latest weighted average mark (WAM) and a personal statement stating their interest in studying Civil Engineering and how this scholarship would impact them. Recipients must achieve a minimum Semester Average Mark (SAM) of 65 in the first semester of their scholarship tenure to maintain eligibility.
