Frank A Coates Memorial Scholarship

The Frank A Coates Memorial Scholarship is awarded annually to a student with superior academic achievement graduating from the BSc. in Agriculture with a Crop Science major at the University of Alberta. The scholarship was established through endowed funds by Mrs. D Enilda Peers in memory of her father, Frank A Coates. Recipients are selected on the basis of academic standing, with preference given to students from rural areas. The scholarship supports graduating students in the Faculty of Agricultural, Life and Environmental Sciences who have demonstrated excellence in their academic pursuits within the Crop Science program.
