Frank A. Weidman Fund

The Frank A. Weidman Fund was established at The Pittsburgh Foundation to provide funds for graduates of Pittsburgh Public Schools to complete college and university studies in the arts and social sciences. This single-year scholarship award is available to graduating seniors from any Pittsburgh Public High School who plan to pursue a degree in the Arts or Social Sciences including Anthropology, Economics, History, Political Science, Psychology, and Sociology. The fund demonstrates a commitment to supporting students from Pittsburgh's public school system in their pursuit of higher education in humanities and social science disciplines. Preference is given to applicants who can demonstrate financial need, making this scholarship particularly valuable for students requiring financial assistance to complete their college education.
