About this opportunity
The scholarship was created by the generosity of Frank Miseta and Elaine Lesnet Miseta to benefit graduating seniors from high schools in Williams County, Ohio. Frank was an Army Air Corp veteran of World War II who graduated from The Ohio State University with a law degree in 1950. Elaine worked for White Castle for 67 years, retiring on her 88th birthday. The couple loved to travel and traveled the world three times. As part of their legacy, they founded this scholarship to support students pursuing higher education at any educational institution in the United States. The award provides $12,000 payable over four years at $3,000 per year to help graduating seniors from Williams County high schools continue their education.
