About this opportunity
The Frank B. Silvestro Fund was established in 2000 by Frank B. Silvestro, BA '62 and MA '68, to assist University at Buffalo students pursuing degrees in physics. The Department has chosen to devote the funds generated annually by this endowment to benefit graduate students who show academic promise and demonstrate financial needs. This scholarship provides financial support to physics graduate students at UB, helping them continue their research and academic pursuits. Recipients are selected based on their academic performance, research progress, and demonstrated financial need.
