About this opportunity
The Frank Hori Foundation Scholarship provides two awards of $5,000 each to academically outstanding students of Japanese ancestry at the University of Victoria. One scholarship is awarded to a female student and one to a male student. The scholarship is available to both undergraduate and graduate students who are either entering or continuing at the university. Entering undergraduate students can be from a secondary school in Canada or transferring from any Canadian college. Recipients must demonstrate financial need in addition to academic excellence. Graduate student applicants must normally maintain a minimum A- average and meet any additional criteria established by the donor. The scholarship supports students throughout their studies while maintaining satisfactory academic standing.
