Frank M. Bertoni & Beverly Cimini-Bertoni Scholarship

The Catholic Community Foundation is proud to offer the Frank M. Bertoni & Beverly Cimini-Bertoni Scholarship Fund to students pursuing an education in nursing, a technical field, or other vocational program. This renewable scholarship is designed to support students who have completed high school in Florida or received a GED and have been accepted into an accredited state college, community college, vocational/technical school, or nursing program. The scholarship provides financial assistance for tuition, books, fees, and housing expenses to help students pursue vocational and technical education paths. Applicants must maintain a minimum unweighted GPA of 2.0 or greater both in high school and during their college studies. The scholarship can be renewed annually for up to three years, provided students continue to meet the GPA requirement, offering a total potential value of $15,000 over the three-year period. This scholarship opportunity specifically targets students pursuing practical, career-oriented education in nursing, technical fields, or other vocational programs. The application process requires students to complete an online application and financial needs assessment, submit completed high school transcripts showing unweighted GPA and volunteer hours, provide their most recent FAFSA form with Student Aid Index (SAI), and submit proof of acceptance into an accredited institution. Applications open in December and are due by March 1st at 11:59 PM each year.
