About This Opportunity

The Frank Whittle Scholarship is offered by Cranfield University's Thermal Power and Propulsion MSc programme, named after the British inventor of the jet engine. Applications are welcome from well-qualified students who, without financial support, would not be able to attend the course. Winning this scholarship confers a distinction that should be included in the CV and provides awardees with a life-changing opportunity to contribute to the challenges of the power and propulsion industry. The scholarship covers 50% of tuition fees for the MSc in Thermal Power and Propulsion. Successful applicants will be required to undertake an MSc thesis project assigned by staff within the Centre for Propulsion and Thermal Power Engineering, with many having the opportunity to work on high-impact projects connected to major global industrial partners.
