Frantisek Cikanek Memorial Award in Music

The Frantisek Cikanek Memorial Award in Music is awarded to students with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in an undergraduate degree in Music who demonstrate outstanding musical merit in violin, viola, double bass, or cello performance. Selection is based on academic standing and musical merit, with preference given to students in the area of cello performance. Recipients are automatically considered based on their completed General Application through the University of Alberta's scholarship system.
