Fraser Coast Regional Council Bursary

Offered for the first time in 2020, the Fraser Coast Regional Council Bursary provides financial support to full-time undergraduate students enrolled in bachelor-level programs at the UniSC Fraser Coast campus. The bursaries are funded through donations from Fraser Coast Regional Council and support students living in the Fraser Coast local government area. The bursary provides A$2,500 paid in eight fortnightly instalments of A$312.50 throughout Study Period 1. This scholarship is offered on a yearly basis through funds provided by an external donor, and if funding is not available in any given year, the bursary will not be awarded. At least one of the two bursaries available each year will be awarded to an Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander student. Selection is based on financial need, hours worked in paid employment or commitment to activities that impact study time, and academic merit.
