Fraser Thomas Scholarship

The Fraser Thomas Scholarship was established in 2005 as a successor to the 'First Look' scholarship scheme, and is financed by Fraser Thomas, a well-established consulting practice based in Highbrook, East Tamaki. The main purpose of the Scholarship is to assist and encourage students taking the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) specialising in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering. Fraser Thomas's fields of practice include civil, geotechnical, environmental, and structural engineering, and land surveying. This Scholarship enables Fraser Thomas to support the engineering profession by providing financial assistance with tuition fees. The award provides progressive support across three years of study: 50% of compulsory tuition fees in Year 2, 75% in Year 3, and 100% in Year 4.
