Frazer Family Foundation Young Achievers Scholarship

The Frazer Family Foundation Young Achievers Scholarship is part of the UQ Residential Scholarships Scheme at the University of Queensland. This scholarship was established in 2018 and is maintained through income generated from an endowment fund created by a donation from the Frazer Family Foundation. The scholarship provides financial support specifically for accommodation fees for eligible students. This scholarship is designed to support domestic students who demonstrate financial hardship and are part of the Young Achievers Program. The award is focused on helping students enrolled in STEMM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, and Medicine) or Education programs at UQ. Recipients must be enrolled full-time in an approved program and be residing at an approved accommodation provider. The scholarship provides approximately $11,000 towards accommodation fees, though this amount is subject to the annual distribution from the relevant fund and may vary from year to year. Four scholarships are awarded annually for a duration of one year. Applications are assessed through a single application form that considers candidates for all scholarships in the Aspire Scholarship scheme, the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Education Scholarship Scheme, and the UQ Residential Scholarship scheme.
