Fred and Ethel Shaffer Scholarship

The Fred and Ethel Shaffer Scholarship was created by donors with a firm belief in the value of education to encourage high school graduates who need financial assistance to pursue higher education. With many years of strong ties to the Grove City community, the fund provides financial assistance to academically talented students in the Grove City, OH community who otherwise might be unable to attend college. The scholarship provides $20,000 payable over four years at $5,000 per year to eligible students pursuing a four-year or more degree full-time at an Ohio state-supported university. Candidates must be seniors or graduates of Grove City High School with strong academic records, and other scholarship awards already received will be taken into account to ensure assistance goes to students who need it most.
