About This Opportunity
The Fred Farwell Family Memorial Scholarship is awarded to one or more students in the College of Natural Sciences who have above-average scholastic ability and who are majoring in agriculture, agricultural science, or natural resources, with preference given to those majoring in horticulture. Preference is also given to students involved in university athletics and other activities and those working either at the university or during the summer months to earn part of their college expenses. Recipients must have demonstrated financial need. Students are automatically considered based on their completed General Application through the University of Massachusetts Amherst scholarship portal.
