Fred Groch Entrance Bursary

The Fred Groch Entrance Bursary consists of two bursaries, valued at $3,000 each, awarded annually to full-time undergraduate students enrolled in Year One of any program in the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Waterloo. The awards are based on both financial need and academic achievement. This fund was made possible by a donation from Fred Groch who passionately supports higher education. To be considered for this bursary, students must complete the Waterloo Entrance Bursary application, which is available through the Awards and financial aid tab in the Waterloo application portal. Access to the application is limited to Ontario students who will be studying on a full-time basis and who are applying to post-secondary studies for the first time. The application period runs from February 1 to April 15 annually.
