Fred H Irwin Memorial Prize in Organic Chemistry

The Fred H Irwin Memorial Prize in Organic Chemistry is awarded annually to the student making the best record in CHEM 361 and CHEM 460 at the University of Alberta. This prize was established through endowed funds by Mr and Mrs Leslie H Irwin in memory of their son, Flying Officer FH Irwin, who lost his life on March 19, 1945, while on operations. The award recognizes outstanding academic achievement in organic chemistry coursework within the Faculty of Science.
