Freda and George Green First in Family Scholarship

The Freda and George Green First in Family Scholarship was established in 2022 and is funded by Freda and George Green, who were each the first in their families to have a tertiary education which, in no small way, enabled all of their children to also do so. The main purpose of the Scholarship is to assist students who are the first member of their immediate family to attend university and who, because of financial hardship, may not otherwise be able to undertake a university degree. The scholarship provides up to $8,000 per annum for an incoming first year student who is the first in their family to attend university, with tenure for up to four years.
