About this opportunity

This grant program supports private owners of buildings, structures, and cultural environments protected under the Cultural Heritage Act. The purpose is to preserve protected cultural monuments and cultural environments in private ownership and contribute to their restoration according to antiquarian guidelines. The grant scheme aims to secure cultural monuments' value as sources, ensure opportunities for experiences are maintained, and facilitate sustainable value creation and use. The program covers additional costs, wholly or partially, arising from requirements for antiquarian execution in securing, restoration, maintenance, and care of cultural monuments protected under the Cultural Heritage Act. Grants are intended as partial financing and are not meant to cover total costs. A degree of self-contribution and/or equity is expected. As a general rule, the grant will not exceed 50% of the total cost in individual projects.
