Frederick Ost Scholarship in Architecture

The Frederick Ost Scholarship in Architecture is designed to assist a graduate in Architecture to travel outside New Zealand for further study. This scholarship commemorates Frederick Ost, architect of Prague, Wellington and Auckland, and was established in 1988 through a bequest under the will of his widow, Greta Ostova. The scholarship provides financial support for domestic Architecture graduates undertaking further study overseas or an approved student exchange. It offers one annual award valued at $5,000 for a tenure period of one year to help cover expenses associated with international architectural study and professional development.
