Frederick P. & Joan F. Kessler Student Leadership Scholarship for New First-Year Students

The Frederick P. & Joan F. Kessler Student Leadership Scholarship is designed for incoming first-year students who are graduates of a Milwaukee Public High School. This scholarship recognizes and supports students who have demonstrated leadership in significant capacities, such as holding elected office in student government or volunteering in political campaigns for candidates running for public office. The scholarship is intended to encourage student leaders to consider future public service and civic engagement. The award provides $1,600 to support the educational expenses of qualified students entering the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Applicants must demonstrate their leadership experience through detailed descriptions of their roles and impact in high school or community settings.
