Fredrickson-McGregor Education Foundation for LPNs Practical Nurse Award

The Fredrickson-McGregor Education Foundation for LPNs Practical Nurse Award is a scholarship awarded to full-time or part-time students enrolled in the NorQuest College Practical Nurse program or students pursuing post-diploma advanced education programs designated for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), such as the Advanced Education in Orthopaedics for LPNs program. This award recognizes students who demonstrate strong academic achievement with a minimum GPA of 75% (B/3.0), have demonstrated financial need, and have made meaningful community contributions through volunteerism either within the college or in the broader community. Applicants must be Alberta residents for at least 12 months prior to their admission to the program. The award provides $1,000 in financial support to help offset educational costs for nursing students pursuing their practical nursing education or advancing their LPN credentials.
