Fredrik och Ingrid Thurings Stiftelse Original Source

About This Opportunity

Fredrik och Ingrid Thurings Stiftelse awards grants once per year for medical research, with a specific focus on psychiatric research. The foundation prioritizes both child and adolescent psychiatry as well as adult psychiatry. Clinical research is given priority, though preclinical research may be considered if it has relevance to the foundation's purpose and has clinical implications. The foundation distributes approximately 5 million Swedish kronor annually, with individual grants awarded up to 350,000 kronor. Priority is given to registered doctoral students relatively close to their dissertation and/or after completing their mid-seminar, as well as to researchers who have defended their dissertation within the last 5 years. Exceptions to the 5-year limit may include parental leave. The same applicant/project can be awarded grants a maximum of three times in consecutive years, provided that reports have been submitted for previously awarded grants.
