About this opportunity

The Moray Council offers Free School Meals and Clothing Grants to support families on low incomes with school-related expenses. All P1-P5 children are automatically eligible for free school meals, while P6-P7 pupils whose families receive the Scottish Child Payment can also qualify. Families meeting specific benefit criteria may also receive a Clothing Grant of £120 for primary-aged children or £150 for secondary-aged children annually to assist with purchasing essential school clothing. Eligible benefits include Income Support, Income-based Job Seekers' Allowance, Income-related Employment and Support Allowance, Pension Credit, Support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999, and Universal Credit with monthly earned income not exceeding £995. Additional holiday meal support payments are available during school holidays for qualifying families.
