Freemasons Christchurch Nursing Scholarship

The Freemasons Christchurch Nursing Scholarship is a cash award of up to $1,500 provided by the Canterbury Masonic Charitable Trust to support high academic achievers pursuing a Bachelor of Nursing at Ara Institute of Canterbury. The scholarship is designed to help students achieve their career goals in the nursing field, particularly those who have a desire to work in the Canterbury primary health care sector after graduation. Two scholarships are awarded annually to students who have completed and passed one academic year of the Bachelor of Nursing program and are enrolled full-time. Applicants must demonstrate academic achievement, provide a personal statement reflecting special circumstances that make them a strong candidate, and submit referee reports attesting to their ability to succeed and their character.
