French and Italian Fund for Academic Excellence (Spring)

The French and Italian Fund for Excellence provides study abroad scholarship support to full-time undergraduate students at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. This scholarship is specifically designed to support students pursuing French or Italian language studies who wish to study abroad. Eligible recipients must have completed a minimum of 24 residential credits at UMass Amherst and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher. The scholarship targets students who have declared a primary or secondary major in French or Italian, with the requirement that their native or primary language must be something other than French or Italian.
