About this opportunity
The Freshman Student Body President Scholarship is awarded to entering freshmen who have been named Student Body President at their high school. This one-year scholarship provides a $2,000 award to recognize student leadership at the high school level. The scholarship requires students to have demonstrated exceptional leadership by serving as president of their entire student body during their high school career. To be eligible, students must be entering Mississippi State University as first-time freshmen with a minimum 9th-11th grade GPA of 3.0 or higher. The scholarship award is disbursed equally over two semesters during the student's first year at MSU, providing financial support to help offset the costs of their undergraduate education.
