Friends of UPEI Calgary Scholarships

Awarded annually to Alberta students entering full time undergraduate studies or continuing full time undergraduate studies at UPEI, with preference for students from the Calgary area. These scholarships are awarded from an endowment fund created by the Friends of UPEI Calgary who began an annual fundraising dinner and auction in 1998. Founder and chair, Bill LeClair, and numerous volunteers organize this event which is held each year on the first Saturday in November in Calgary. Proceeds and other special contributions to the fund have built a significant fund that generates annual proceeds awarded to students under a variety of criteria.
