Fritidsstipend

Bærum kommune wishes that all children and young people should have the same opportunities to participate in organized leisure activities, regardless of their parents' finances. The Leisure Scholarship (Fritidsstipend) can be applied for when a child is prevented from participating in leisure activities due to the family's low income. The scholarship covers ordinary membership fees and training/membership dues for activities. Organizations, associations, and municipal services can apply on behalf of participants. The maximum household income cannot exceed 5G (the National Insurance basic amount x5).
