About this opportunity
Frivillighetsmidlene (Volunteer Funds) in Bydel Bjerke aims to contribute to a diverse organizational life, strengthen associations in the district, and increase voluntary activity and participation. A strong volunteer sector is considered important for democracy, local community, and public health. The funds support associations in Bydel Bjerke to operate their core activities within culture, sports and leisure, nature and environment, outdoor recreation, and local history. The program prioritizes initiatives that create activity for young people with disabilities, activities with a high degree of volunteerism, open activities and free offerings, and collaborative initiatives between organizations. A stated goal is that 70% of the funds should go to initiatives aimed at children and young people. The program supports activities and events in voluntary organizations, activity-promoting equipment and materials, operation of core activities including wages/fees for instructors, course leaders, trainers, and similar roles, as well as projects spanning multiple years (up to three years).
