Frivillighetsmidler og Nabolags- og aktivitetsmidler i Bydel Gamle Oslo

Bydel Gamle Oslo distributes 2,500,000 Norwegian kroner in voluntary activity funding and neighborhood/activity funding. The program supports projects and activities as well as operational support for voluntary organizations operating in the Gamle Oslo district. Frivillighetsmidler (Voluntary Funds) are for initiatives throughout Bydel Gamle Oslo, while Nabolags- og aktivitetsmidler (Neighborhood and Activity Funds) are specifically reserved for initiatives in Grønland and Tøyen. The funding aims to support activities that create participation and engagement related to environment, health, culture, and sports. Priority is given to initiatives directed toward children and youth in the district, activities that take place in the district or for district residents, activities that promote voluntary work and engagement, free or low-cost activities for participants, and collaborative projects between local actors. Eligible applicants include voluntary organizations, private foundations, religious communities, enterprises with idealistic purposes registered in the voluntary registry, and social entrepreneurs (for neighborhood funds only). Applicants must demonstrate voluntary, unpaid efforts by and for residents of Bydel Gamle Oslo. The program encourages organizations that facilitate activities for people with reduced functional capacity to apply.
