About This Opportunity

This funding opportunity supports projects working with selected strategies for sustainable urban development, focusing on specific goal 2:8 - Promoting sustainable mobility in cities. The initiative aims to contribute to a greener Europe by increasing the ability to utilize existing and new knowledge among municipalities and other public actors to promote the transition to sustainable urban mobility. Projects can address innovation in policy and regulation, behavioral change initiatives, and facilitate faster impact of innovation through investments in testing, demonstration, and scaling up. Supported interventions should complement investments in transport infrastructure financed by other public institutions, focusing on measures that reduce the need for transport and travel, influence choice of transport mode, or contribute to more efficient use of existing resources and infrastructure. The program operates within the framework of sustainable urban development strategies developed through the National Regional Fund Program, covering 12 territorial strategies across Sweden.
