About This Opportunity

This funding opportunity supports organizations and small to medium-sized enterprises in promoting the transition to a circular economy in the regions of Jönköping, Kalmar, Kronoberg, and Gotland in Sweden. The program provides EU financing for development projects and feasibility studies that promote a circular and resource-efficient economy. Projects should focus on helping SMEs and public sector organizations become part of the circular economy to a greater extent, with activities such as design for product longevity, repair and maintenance, second-hand markets, sharing services, and reuse/recycling of raw materials. The program particularly encourages industrial symbiosis where multiple businesses collaborate to save resources. Projects should be structurally influential and benefit multiple companies, helping them develop functioning circular business models while reducing economic risks associated with circular transition. The program also supports building capacity for international collaboration and welcomes projects that invest in environments and infrastructure in close collaboration with industry.
